TRAINING
Conducted by the UK NUDURA expert, who has over 20 years experience in building with ICF technology in North America, the course provides a combination of informative presentations and practical, hands-on learning.
The intensive, 1 day course is designed for builders, contractors, tradespeople, architects, engineers, building officials and self builders.
On successful completion of the stringent Certified Installer Examination, ongoing advice and technical support are provided for all Qualified Installers. This includes an onsite pre-pour check and supervision of first pour where appropriate.
The Certified NUDURA Installer Course Includes:
Introduction to the NUDURA Integrated Building Technology
Tools and materials
Excavation and layout
Footings and slabs
Installation of NUDURA Form Units
Rebar placement
Formation of door and window openings
Wall alignment and scaffolding system
Service penetrations
Concrete specifications, placement and consolidation
Special details
Lintel design, proper use of tables
Reviewing requirements of the overall project which interface with the NUDURA Building Technology
Damp proofing & Waterproofing
Mechanical installation
Air/Vapour barrier
Interior finishes
Exterior finishes
Building Regulation compliance
All participants will receive an installation manual, workbook and classroom/technical materials as well as lunch and refreshments during the day.
